Article 8: Guarantee
By virtue of the law of 21 September 2004 regarding the protection of consumers when selling consumption goods, the consumer has statutory rights. This statutory guarantee applies from the date of delivery to the first owner. Each commercial guarantee will not affect these rights.
In order to invoke the guarantee, Customer must submit a receipt. Customers are advised to keep the original package of the items.
For items that were purchased online and which were delivered to the home of Customer, Customer must contact the Koboi BV customer service and return the item to Koboi BV at his/her expense.
When a defect is established, Customer must inform Koboi BV as soon as possible. All defects must have been reported by Customer in any case within a period of 2 months after establishing the defect. After this period all entitlements to repair or replacement will cease.
The (commercial and/or statutory) guarantee never applies to defects resulting from accidents, negligence, crashes, use of items contrary to the purpose for which they were designed, non-observance of user instructions or manuals, adaptations or changes to items, rough use, poor maintenance, or all other abnormal or incorrect kinds of use.
Defects that manifest themselves after a period of 6 months following the date of purchase or if applicable, following the date of delivery, will not be regarded to be hidden defects, except in case of evidence to the contrary by Customer.
Koboi BV is not responsible for an interrupted availability of or access to the Site, failures depending on the computer system, viruses or other inconvenience which may occur by using this Site (including, but not restricted to 'lost earnings').
